Peach Blossom Island Bust Yuanxing Liang

Product Description

Chinese artist Yuanxing Liang is redefining the traditional bust sculpture with his breathtaking fantasy art. The prototyping teacher crafts intricate portraits featuring faces of women that are fused with delicate flourishes and elements of landscapes. Most notably, their hair becomes a site of surrealism; the long locks wrap around their heads and are the grounds for which miniature buildings, fish ponds, and trees make their home. The results are 360 degrees of incredible details for you to admire.
With this level of craft, you’d expect for Liang’s sculptures to be one-of-a-kind. But, this isn’t always the case; his piece titled Chunmang. Peach Blossom Island was for recently sale in very limited edition at Wonder Festival in Shanghai. It’s inspired by the Chinese fable of Peach Blossom Dragon Spring and uses the source material to create a “phantom-dreaming world” that’s made tranquil with peach blossom trees.
