Gimli 1/2 Scale Statue
DESCRIPTION
In collaboration with Penguin Toys, Infinity Studio presents the next addition to their Lord of the Rings 1/2 scale line, Gimli. Using platinum silicone for the portrait, there is a life-like quality with a natural skin texture. Also, Gimli's iconic beard is made up of individually rooted hairs. Adding to this piece is the use of real fabric, along with belts and and metal buckles. Another impressive feature of Gimli's costume is the hand-made chainmail.
Posed on a rock-like platform, Gimli's other battle axe, Orc bones, and the Book of Mazarbul add to it. Using silk threads, cobwebs were created for the base. For the weapons, Gimli carries two battle axes. Thus, there are three axes total from the film: two hand axes, and one throwing axe. Allowing for multiple display options, throwing axe can be switched between the hands and waist.
